PETER NJUGUNA KIMANI – Litigation Partner

Mr. Kimani is a holder of a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Nairobi where he graduated in 1999. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya of thirteen years standing and also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, and a Diploma in Human Resources Management. He is also a Certified Public Secretary, a Commissioner for Oaths and a Notaries Public and is presently at the final stage of his Masters Degree in Law at the University of Nairobi in the discipline of Governance & Democracy.

Mr. Kimani has a wealth of experience. He undertook his internship at Njenga Mwaura Advocates before joining the prestigious law firm of Ndung’u, Njoroge & Kwach Advocates in 2004 as an Associate for 4 years. He handled many complex legal matters in commercial litigation, bank securities, labour laws and conveyancing. He then moved to the Kenya Planters Co-operative Union Limited, Kenya’s 70 year old and most formidable coffee processing and marketing company. He helped the farmers’ body in restructuring the Debt Portfolio with such a recognizable impact that the company hired him on a permanent basis as a Senior Legal Officer. He subsequently rose to the position of Company Secretary and then became the Managing Director of the company in 2006, thereby effectively making him the youngest CEO in his times and in the Kenya Coffee Sector.

AMOS KIARIE NJOROGE – Managing Partner & Property Law Expert

Mr. Kiarie is a holder of a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), from the Moi University where he graduated in 2003. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya of Nine years standing, a Commissioner for Oaths and a Notaries Public. 

Upon completing his studies at the University he joined the esteemed law firm of Njoroge Regeru & Company for internship. The firm exposed him to inestimable experience in commercial law, real estate law, advanced drafting skills and dealing with major corporate clients and international corporations; documentation review; registration of trademarks; drafting and registration of bank securities; incorporation of companies, and company law & practice among others. 

Mr. Kiarie was a key research person for the law firm during the Judicial Commission of Inquiry into the Goldenberg Affair. This was an excellent platform from which he learnt crucial lawyering skills and advocacy in the field of public interest litigation and forensic audit of public enterprises. 

Upon his admission to the Bar, Mr. Kiarie was employed as an Associate in the firm of C.N Kihara Advocates where he worked briefly before joining the corporate sector as a Legal Officer with the Kenya Planters Co-operative Union Limited, a position he held until he left in July 2008 to pursue private practice. 

Presently, Mr. Kiarie is branching into Energy law and is advising a number of clients (both local and international) in the oil and gas sector. Amos is happily married to Muthoni and they are blessed with a baby girl and boy. During his free time, Mr. Kiarie enjoys traveling and a range of sports, particularly golf.


Mrs. Loise Njuguna graduated from the prestigious Makerere University with a Bachelor of Laws in 2008. She holds two Diplomas in Law, from the Kenya School of Professional Studies as well as the Kenya school of Law. She was subsequently admitted as an Advocate of the High Court in 2011.

Mrs. Njuguna has gained significant experience and exposure having interned at a number of notable law firms in Nairobi as well as the Government Cooperatives Tribunal also in Nairobi.

Mrs. Loise Njuguna is in charge of our Embu Branch Office and brings high energy to the firm in the areas of Commercial Law practice, property transactions and court litigation.

Loise is a strong believer in social justice, women empowerment and community welfare. She is a member of Maendeleo ya Wanawake Organization (MYWO) as well as the East Africa Law Society.


Esther Njeri Mungai graduated from Moi University with a Bachelor of Laws in 2011 and joined the Kenya school of Law the following year for a post-graduate diploma in Law. During vacations, she was attached at clear legal Aid Clinics as a research assistant whereby she acquired both qualitative and quantitative techniques in conducting research. She there after worked as a legal assistant in the firm of Kiarie Kariuki & company Advocates before joining the prestigious UBA Kenya Bank Limited of where she held the position of a Credit /Risk Intern and later a Legal Officer.

At Kimani Kiarie and Associates' Advocates, Ms. Mungai is an Associate and is mostly involved with litigation as well as other areas of law. 

A strong believer in women empowerment through civic education, she has previously volunteered with the legal Aid Clinic. At her free time she enjoys reading, traveling and listening to music.


MARGARET WANGUI M. NJOROGE – Public Sector Issues Consultant 

Mrs. Margaret Njoroge is one of the external consultants to the firm.

She is a holder of a Bachelors of Law Degree as well as a Diploma in Law, a Masters of Business Administration degree, a Higher Diploma in Psychological Counseling and she is cutrently undertaking a Masters of Law (LLM) degree. Her areas of specialization include Procurement and Public Finance Law, Business transactions law, Trade and Investments law, Probate and Administration Law, Children and Gender Law, Public Administration Law, Legal Research and Training.  

She is also a Certified Public Secretary (CPS-K).

In terms of her vast experience, Mrs. Njoroge has worked for many years for the Government in various senior level capacities. She has served as a Deputy Chief State Counsel in charge of property management division in the Administrator -General’s department in Nairobi, and also in the Ministry of State (Public Service). She has also worked as a State Counsel in the Attorney General’s Office in Nairobi, Machakos and Embu.

CATHERINE WANJIRU GICHUKI – Disputes Resolution Consultant  

Mrs. Catherine Gichuki is the second external consultant to the firm.

She is a holder of a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Moi University, Eldoret where she graduated in the year 2002. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya of six years standing. She has previously worked as an Associate in the firms of Arimi Kimathi & Co. and Kantai & Company Advocates in Nairobi where she worked in the litigation and commercial departments. 

She has also served as the military defence lawyer in the Justice Waki led Commission of Inquiry into the Post Election Violence (CIPEV). She is a trained disputes resolutions specialist and has attended various international seminars and consultative meetings to enhance her dispute resolution skills. She has also acted as a volunteer and offered pro bono legal services to the needy in society.


The firm has also admitted two legal interns Maria Awori and Kelvin Gathara who have completed their studies at the University level and currently undertaking studies at the Kenya School of Law. They assist in handling clients, legal research, preparing briefs and general conduct of the matters that the firm is handling at the moment.
