Edwin Gatheru Magu is a highly accomplished legal professional who obtained his Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from the University of Nairobi in 2020. Following his undergraduate studies, he embarked on the Advocates Training Programme at the Kenya School of Law, completing it between 2021 and 2022. Edwin's dedication and commitment led to his qualification as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, and he was officially admitted to the Bar. Currently, he is furthering his education by pursuing a Company Secretarial Course with KASNEB.

Throughout his academic journey, Edwin demonstrated a strong work ethic and a passion for legal research. As a student intern at both the Advocates Complaints Commission and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, he had the opportunity to refine his skills as a legal researcher. He gained valuable experience in conducting thorough research and analysis, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Moreover, Edwin currently volunteers as a researcher at Africa Justice and Restoration Kenya, an organization that provides legal aid clinics, representation, and aftercare support to pretrial detainees who have been wrongfully accused and detained. Through his involvement with the organization, he actively contributes to promoting justice and fairness in the legal system.

His areas of expertise encompass a wide range of legal disciplines, including perfection of securities, property law, and conveyancing. Furthermore, he possesses extensive knowledge and experience in commercial law, family law, human rights law, electoral laws, and real estate law. Edwin's passion extends to emerging areas of law such as Tech Law and its relationship with data protection and privacy, international law, refugee and asylum law, and alternative dispute resolution.
